bone-lust:

BONELUST BONE PROCESSING PROGRESS: Partial alligator skull after maceration & before peroxide bath. You can really see the extensive skull damage now. I will try to gather as many bone fragments as I can and see if I can’t piece this puzzle back together. Either way I will find some way to use it in my art.

No, I did not kill this beautiful creature. This is the reality of where my bones come from. I do not buy the bones used in my art. See previous alligator posts for more extensive info on it. Yes, I have salvaged every possible part of this alligator. No, I did not eat it. It was butchered before this was gifted to me (& I don’t eat meat anyway beyond fish). ๐ŸŠ♥๐Ÿ’€♥๐ŸŠ (at http://bone-lust.blogspot.com)

I’m kewt sometimes

I’m kewt sometimes

An End (not bitter) to 2 0 1 3…

Some people are dream people. They wake up and they feel things that others do not. They romanticize things that are ordinary. How would you feel if your whole life everything felt like a dream? Kind of impossible, right? You wake up, and everything is always perfect. Peopleโ€™s faces seem genuine and no one really thinks twice about smiling at you…Iโ€™d love to live in a little world like that. I’ll call it a fairy tale world. You don’t have to wake up to catch a bus, or a train, or a cold. Instead maybe you’ll catch a firefly in a jar and watch it light up until you get bored. Then you’ll let it free and…maybe you can’t stand it to not sing at the top of your lungs to The Beatles’ song “All You Need Is Love" (while wearing your best underpants). You’ll grow terrariums in your room because you can. You would attempt everything because you knew you could not fail. Your fears wouldn’t hold you back because there wasn’t anything to worry about.

In this world, there is no sickness and death would be welcomed after a long, happy, and prosperous life. People would get caught up in the rain but it wouldnt matter because you would dance and everyone would dance. Monday wouldnt exist and there would be C A K E for breakfast.

So go on…here’s to 2014 and dancing in the rain, lighting candles that smell good, watching movies with the ones you love, getting that strange tattoo, going to Paris (or BACK to Paris) laughing uncontrollably, buying a puppy, crying (finally) by yourself over that idiot that broke your heart, sucking it up, taking that job that pays less, going back to school, giving up bad habits, being charitable, making right by those you’ve done wrong, taking that class you’ve been putting off, eating real food because juicing is so 2013, making new friends, taking risks, OH - and reminding yourself of the good people in your life. Cheers to a new chapter, mates.ย

You meet someone at the wrong moment in time and you fall in love with them.

I think the experience of feeling isolated, of not fitting in, creates the urge to explore.
